I would recommend by starting with the liver flush/cleanse per this site, cicking 'liver flush' (on main page) researching it and following dr. clark's recipe. Don't worry about being overly toxic.. I was as toxic as they come when I started actively healing and changing my lifestyle a few years back and had zero problems. Plus, the Liver Flush is only a 1/2 day fast and is so gentle on the body that children, the elderly and even those with terminal illness have safely practiced without complaints.
Sometimes people (myslef included) can develop a complex about being so overly toxic that cleanses coudl harm them. The reality though, is that the body is already set up to remove toxins very efficently. If this wasn;t the case, the crappy diets man of us eat would cause our blood to drop in ph and we woudl die in like 2 days.. heh.
One thing that it extremely important before the liver flush, is the parasite program. You need to be sure to clean house on as many as possible before starting. The preferred method of myself and all of my friends regarding this, is buying a ZAPPER. i kow they sound a little weird, but are the real deal and based on extensive research.
The advantage to going the zapper route regarding parasites, is that it only takes a week to complete zapping cycle before cleanse as opposed to herbal programs which can take much longer.
So, my advice on the firt step is:
get a zapper
zap for a week
do the liver flush
pass 1000 stones
freak out and tell everyone you know about it!
:)
best of luck regardling this new path. Congratulations!

ps- just use water instead of applejuice. :) the saltwater tastes pretty horrible either way. heh.
