Since February I have been adding 3TBSP. of providine and 1/4 cup of iodized Seasalt to my bath water. I soak for 30 minutes, bathing-shampooing as time goes by. I feel nice afterwards and sleep very sound. Fire-Ants love me more then they lvoe anyone else so I must not be getting enough fluids. I got attacked around March and put one drop of Iodine tincture on a bandaid and it burnt the heck out of my skin. The skin boiled up and filled with clear fluid. I have scars as a reminder to not do this again. They have lightened lately. A nurse saw them and asked what I had done to myself and I just ignored her and pressed on and have avoided her since. As far as putting it on bug bites it is great. Just do not cover with a bandaid.
