I am unable to find the list of body parts that either Iodine or Iodide help. I remember that Iodine is found to be stored in breast tissue and that it is the Iodine that is the major contributor to the alleviation of FBD. This is why I posted the original statement. Women especially should think about taking vitamin C apart from taking iodine. I kind of remember that the prostate is helped by iodide. Anyway, if iodine is found in the breast tissue and the thyroid, then iodine must survive any conversion by digestive acids.
