I cook the ground meat. I mix it with kibble. We have
country dogs that run off weight as fast as they put
it on. So, once a day I cook some ground meat (not lean)
and they get that along with garlic caps and brewers yeast.

I am buying in bulk and actually, with the cost of dog food,
I am probably not spending much more. I know that dogs eat
lots of raw meat and my dogs will eat a critter they catch
as much as the next but probably for my own peace of mind
and to keep any parasite load down, I do make sure the meat
is cooked.
