your doctor sounds wacky. boiling will kill giardia. distilling will eliminate even a trace of it.

the question i have is does CS kill giardia? i think it is a parasite of more than one cell, not a bacteria. i guess i have to go chek. brb

looks like they are two celled animals, so i dont know about CS. the rest is correct.

you should be making CS with distilled water only. well water is a no-no.
