Possibly but probably not very much so as they have somewhat equivalent hormones. These stress hormones can and do activate the immune function and may incite the immune system to attack these parasites more effectively than under normal condidtions. I would suspect that hormones secreted by parasites have a far more extensive effect on us than visa versa.

This probably has a significant effect on overall disease resistance.

However, the lower level of parasites that you experience may also be due to other factors.

Many who have parasites as adults often contacted them as children. I got many of mine from playing in a ditch and a creek that were both later found to be a contamination source. I probably did also pick up a few from the many dogs, cats, and other pets that I had. The same is probably true for many others.
