i am a fan of intermitent fasting, eat lightly one day then more the next.Although admitingly i only eat a very small ammount everyday ,mostly protein/fats and some veggies.I have been trying to re-incorporate some more and more carbs into my diet, but i simply have such a hard time digesting them properly.I deal with sugars okay, but when it comes to starchy carbs or complex- even simple i just can't deal.
So i have had to cut it out almost completly.i also been on the Warrior diet for like 4 years now.Primal diet is cool ,but i'd only go on it in life or death situations, personaly i don't see it being that much of a benefit for healthy folks. Why? because i don't think that food needs to be completly raw to be healthy, plus the parasites factor kinda bugs me. i believe in cleansing, fasting and a high fat/protein diet with no processed junk, though we do have our own personal vices so i am not the one to judge or be too overly strict.
check out this site for information on raw diets-

i did the whole rare/raw thing before for like YEARS but until recently have i changed the tune to more cooked, medium meats.i still eat my steaks medium and on occassion very rare but just not everyday.
if you are on the Primal diet, parasites and Tapeworms should'nt be a concern.
We Want to Live is a good book that gets into the roots of the Primal diet, A Recipe for Living i heard is much in more detail though, in terms of recipes and such.
good luck
