Besides the tea being an excellent liver tonic, the oregon grape root fights bacteria.

I would not use a strong anti parasite formula on a weakened liver, I might would try the spice Cloves, it is anti parasitic and destroys parasite eggs and larvae.

I take cloves occasionally as a parasite preventative.
