Ticks and fleas are mostly attracted to animals with weak immune systems.
Try an immune supplement and Organic,Raw, Apple Cider Vinegar. A raw diet or a high quality brand of kibble/canned as well and mix it in with his food. Vinegar is a natural parasite repellant. Giving him a bath and rinsing with a mixture of white vinegar and water will also help to repell them.
