Dear MH,

I just dropped by to tell the poster who asked about copper leaching that all one has to do is cover the copper with packaging tape, contact paper or whatever to prevent leaching; towels wetted with salt water may still be applied between taped electrodes and skin for excellent contact.

Unfortunately, I came across your post stating zappers had no utility whatsoever!

For years I lurked in here and tried lots of different things but never zappers, because a) I believed what they said at quackwatch and b) I was inclined to believe it as Clark's title "the Cure for all cancers" had scared me off long before anyhow.

But I did turn to zappers recently out of total desperation after over two decades of illness that kept getting worse and worse. Two years ago, I could no longer work and most of the time since, I was housebound.

It's easy enough to have a dismissable experience with a zapper no matter which model if your illness are entrenched and/or serious.

I saw no perceptible improvement with the c3i, a recent model which came with plastic wrist-straps, however in my husband's observation my energy improved so I started wearing it around the clock, did some research, and switched from the wrist-bands to large, flat copper plates that took two seconds to cut from about a buck's worth of copper flashing. The larger contact area and placing the electrodes at my abdomen one day, my throat the next, etc. made all the difference (but be careful about sleeping with them on, as I got some really nasty contact burns when they were placed in delicate areas for that many hours).

Really, I have never rid myself of that much mucosoid plaque, so many fungi and parasites all together, no less over a period of days. I immediately ordered two silverados, one for me, another for my husband and when they arrived he wasn't home so I used both at once. (along with herbalist Karin Horn's preparations based on Clark's formulas with additions) Oh, my God! The energy returns and almost overnight improvements in my appearance to others are amazing and despite dreadful die-off symptoms I am feeling better than I ever have in my life with great hopes for the future (provided I'm able to log progressively fewer hours in the bathroom!)

What is your health problem, MH, that zappers didn't ease?

Mine was yeast/ parasite related with complications such as asthma (supposedly), Sugar problems, a host of ever-changing symptoms a parade of specialists attributed to different disorders none of which I had.

Sometimes, all of us embrace a product or method too enthusiastically, then are inclined to disavow it in reaction; you may well have even felt guilt at the time as you continued to 'shill' a product you suspected was bogus to your fellow sufferers while your own condition didn't improve. But I suspect you might feel differently if you persisted.

How can anyone take you at face value when you dismiss not only zappers but all electro therapies? What about tens units? Are defibrillators also quackery?

Well then. May God keep you safe from massive heart attacks in public places.

You describe yourself as a humble herbalist and perhaps you are correctly appraising your botanical knowledge. But the word humble was intended to refer to your persona, it might want to have a word with the author of this thread, who seems anything but.

Why not come clean and share a bit more of yourself than the detached skeptic -- because clearly you're not all that detached or skeptical either, or you wouldn't have bothered to come.

The answers really are here for people who want to get well. Not all of those answers are for everybody and maybe a few are only for suckers, as you fear, but what of it?

Most people would say I'm a sucker, after twenty years of hopping doctors, taking supplements and trying therapies -- how many Kombucha mushrooms can you grow inside old milk bottles on a Manhattan fire escape? -- but I kept trying and still hit it right in the end because the law of odds said I had to, the abundance of good will and diverse information in the Curezone is that mind-boggling. With the Zapper.

So maybe try it one more time?
