Regular sauna yes...Far infrared no. FIR (Far-Infrared-Sauna) sauna is far superior in it's toxic element removal abilities. It is the first choice used by environmental doctors for the purpose of heavy metal detoxifixcation which is verified by multiple lab tests/assays.

Not only do you sweat profusly, you do it at a lower, more tolerable temperature. There is also a corelation between the frequency of the far infrared waves that stimulates the release of toxins so it is measured that more toxins are released safely (not redistributed) than regular sauna.
