Yes, they are treating nerve pain with an uptake inhibitor (anti-depressant)-
but this then messes up the brain signals and leads to a whole new can of worms. It may be fine for some, and not so fine for others.
Whatever you do, dont start taking it and then stop suddenly- you have to taper off of it if your side effects take over- tell your doctor of any.
Do some research-
scary stuff-
Thioctic Acid is safe- do a search on this.
