I am so sorry this happened to you. That was assault. I'm not quite sure if I understand whether you have gotten a settlement for this and if you are getting trauma therapy? You should be able to trace the doctors insurer down and get compensation.

There are some really bad doctors out there, but not all of them are bad. It is just aweful that the bad ones get to practise as freely as the good ones...there seems no real way to insure that bad doctors never practise again.

Then there are the really good doctors that go the extra mile... and buck the system to give good care. They get booted for not bowing to the system...:(
