I can attest to your findings. When me and my boyfriend started dating (about a year ago), he was "clean" because he was looking for another job. We dated for a few months with him clean and we averaged having sex 4 times a week. As soon as he found another job, he started back smoking heavy again, several times a day, the "good stuff." Immediately, his sex drive dropped remarkably, and it has continued to drop until we're down to maybe once a week. I don't smoke at all so I'm not impacted. He thinks I'm a nympho for wanting it every 2-3 days. He's made it pretty clear he'd rather have pot than have sex. Time for a new guy perhaps???
