hi, i also have the virus that manifests in nasty coldsores when i'm stressed or over caffeinated.
i've been parasite cleansing for 5 months/bowel off and on for that time too, then an mc for 8 days mid may, and last nite my 7th liver flush.

i've been eating regularly,drinking coffee and being in the sun. however i have not developed cold sores - so cleanses are a good thing and should not be stopped.

your 3rd day on the mc is usually the worst - i had terrible headache for 2 days. it's the peak of detox i think.

this clears my sores right away:
lysine
vitamin b complex
