Adrian33,
I just happened to stumble across this site, interesting posts, I live in Melb. Australia and have been a health wreck for almost 20 years, poping lots of pills every day.

Had to do something different, my health was gradually deteriorating. The Internet is full of rubbish, however, you will always find something useful if you are prepared to look for it.

My initial discovery of the Liver Flush was at:
http://www.sensiblehealth.com later I found The Clark Flush method. I have only tried the Julia Chang method i.e. 2 day apple fast followed by olive oil/grape fruit juice. Eight flushes so far stopped counting the gall stones at least 1000, feel fantastic my liver function has regenerated from early cirrhosis(confirmed diagnosis) to almost normal (ALT 380 now 78 GGT 340 now 66)... and I no longer have IBS. and enjoy red wine again.. The parasite clense prerequisite in the Clark method makes a lot of sense. Mainstream health is now discovering that most of our health problems are caused by viruses, pathogens, comon bacteria organisms living in the bowell and other organs etc (generally termed as parasites) reduction of body wastes will significantly reduce parasites numbers, as this is their food source. I work at a University and have now completed sufficient mainstream medicine literature searches to be convinced.

Now, to your question about Epsom Salts ....

Epsom Salt is a powerful diuretic; it does the same job as most diuretic drugs on the market however in costs only a few cents.
It also expands bile ducts in the liver and other abdominal passages. The dilatation effect is the main reason for taking the Epsom Salts during the Liver Flush procedure. If you experience muscle cramps after taking ES you should take a few magnesium tabs
magnessium loss is very common during the flush process. If your Doc. supports complimentary medicine he should advise you here.

Hope this helps..
Cheers
