books i highly recommend:

"The Astral World" by Swami Panchadasi

This tiny but knowledge-saturated, somewhat humorous book reveals the true nature and purpose of the astral planes..authored by an Eastern Hindu and expert in astral projection/travel who has visited, studied, and explored the astral regions. Written in the style of a Master taking his Student/Apprentice on a personal tour of the Astral and its many levels. The author exposes the origin of the belief/concept of "heaven and hell", and how it has been severely distorted and misunderstood. The Master reveals that basically nothing in the astral is real...that it is a make-believe world that is real only to the individual disimbodied soul who manifests it through will/desire/belief...and that the astral acts as a sort of "buffer" between the earth/material world and the incomprehensible true spirit world. Why is this buffer necessary? Because one cannot leave the earth/material world and enter again into one's true spirit world if one is still attached to the material realm in any manner. Material attachments (emotional hangups, romance, wealth, power, alcohol/drugs, gambling, anger/hate, violence, war, domination, etc.) are all a part of the material plane..and are not compatible with the "spiritual planes" (our true home). So the astral planes allow us to work off/work out these attachments so we can move on. What i got out of the book was that one message Panchadasi might like to convey to the reader/student is that it is ok to partake in the pleasures and treasures of the earth/material world, but when it's time to leave the body, then be willing to detach oneself from any prior earthly/material attachments..cause that will impede your progress..and it will also cause you to have to replay the same "karmic" experiences formed by one's attachments. Panchadasi also reveals the true nature of ghosts, spirits, spectres, poltergeists, etc. and how these also have been misunderstood. Fascinating metaphysical book that should be our bible!!!!


"Journey of Souls" by Michael Newton
"Transformation of Souls" by Michael Newton

These two wonderful books were written by a former atheist. They feature case histories of individuals Newton had personally regressed hypnotically to a very deep state, not to previous lives, but to what happens BETWEEN lives. This is far more revealing than looking merely at pastlives..and is an eye-opener as to the true nature of our purpose and motivations here in the material world. What makes these books special is Newton's method of gleaning information from his subjects. He doesn't just ask questions to the sleeping subject..but instead has a way of getting the subject to "channel" their own "soul/spirit/higher self" in real time. In other words, he talks to the person's soul as if he and the soul were having a discussion of a PAST event AS it is occuring NOW. This makes the information substantially more valuable and detailed. No "love and light" fluffy stuff here..just down-to-earth stuff about all the work (which is of a creative and very enjoyable nature) that goes on between lives. What the reader will realize is that one does not go to some "heaven" and sit on a billowy cloud while watching daffodils growing and singing praises to one's God (although you could manifest that in the astral plane if you desired it or believed in that). Such an existance would be pointless and become boring. Instead, there is real WORK that goes on..but it is necessary and fun and very creative work. And we're not talking leggos or lincoln logs here...we're talking about CREATING light, atoms, minerals, plants, animals, planets, stars, galaxies and even whole universes. That's not some separate "God" doing that. That's US!...us being, as i like to call it, the "Collective Awareness" or totality of all Creation...ALL levels of awareness that dwell in the seen and unseen universes that form the one infinite Mind -- Creation itself. Afterall, All is One..which would mean we are the experiencers of our own creations. My very simple view is that: We are both the dreamer and the dream. Don't you ever wonder why you get the most pleasure and feel the greatest satisfaction and energy in life by pursuing your creative talents..and how it keeps you young and youthful and keeps that child-like spark alive within you...while boring, tedious, repetitious & laborious work turns us into mind-numbed zombies who no longer feel what it was like to be a child.

"Hiroshima: A Soul Remembers" by Delores Cannon

Cannon has written other books..but these are the ones i have read only. Delores has a similar approach to Michael Newton. She gets her subjects into a very deep hypnotic state and gets them to "channel" their "higher self" so that not only can she ask them about the details of a pastlives, but also ask questions about stuff that all of us want to know relating to man's history & origins, the spirit, reincarnation, aliens/UFO's, the mind & consciousness, energy/physics, etc. Like Michael Newton's books, Cannon's books are a wealth of information..the result of which would be expected if you could sit down and chat with a higher being or alien. The Hiroshima book is an interesting aside from her other books when she discovered that one of her subjects had a pastlife as a Hiroshima atomic bomb victim. Here her subject reveals what it's like to die in a nuclear blast..and what happened next.


The Law of One (5 volumes) by Elkins, Rueckert, & McCarty

More books of a very detailed and metaphysical nature. Not light reading..but fascinating and revealing. The information in these books comes from "channeled" sessions, in which Elkins, a scientist, questions Rueckert (the subject) as she lies in a hypnotic state and "channels" a very advanced other-dimensional "group-mind". Elkins asks very detailed questions covering ET/UFO's, MIB's, greys, abductions, "walk-ins", "wanderers", the spirit, advanced metaphysics, the Logos, the mind/body complex, complex psychology, human history & origins, ancient civilizations, famous figures, divination tools (tarot, etc.), and much more. Should be part of the textbook inventory of any school of metaphysics.

"Past Lives, Future Lives Revealed" by Dr. Bruce Goldberg
