God bless you for taking the time to write out such a long, detailed message to try and help my daughter (and us). I have been involved in the natural, holistic health field for over 20 years. My daughter was born at home with midwives and has never been immunized nor has she ever had an Antibiotic or any other kind of drug. I have always treated her myself when she falls sick with Colloidal Silver , magnets etc. I shudder to think what kind of child I would have wound up with had I subjected her to the massive amounts of mercury found in today's vaccinations. We are very diet-conscious, having raised my children to read labels and to be discerning as much as possible. They know the dangers of food dyes, MSG, Aspartame etc. Yes, she loves dairy but we only eat raw, pasteurized, grass-fed/organic dairy most of the time. Just yesterday I suggested she do an experiment - stop all dairy for a month to see if her bowel function would improve. She is chronically constipated and this situation is definitely excacerbating things.

I too believe heavy metal toxicity is probably playing a huge role here. The only frustrating thing is that I know how to help her but she is incapable of swallowing a pill and won't cooperate, ie. go for testing etc. She is a very private person and hates to be questioned by adults (ie. doctors). She hates it when people look at her and when she is the center of attention - a real problem considering how drop-dead gorgeous she is. I feel a lot of her problems stem from poor circulation/skin problems - she hardly sweats and so is unable to detox properly through her skin.

A number of years ago the whole family underwent N.A.E.T. treatments (Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Technique). My daughter has also been analyzed using the QXCI technology. My husband also made a Hulda Clark zapper which she used to get rid of a parasite which had caused a cyst on her eyelid. She is sensitive to extreme heat and sometimes gets motion sickness. She is also starting to complain about feeling sick when staying too long in front of the computer (EMF sensitivity).

Regarding the T.V. - you are bang on. I have tried, to no avail, to convince my husband to ditch the thing. Also the other two kids won't give it up and I don't want them to feel punished because of her. As it is, when she is in one of her moods, she can be so callous and mean and cutting - it is very important to me that my three girls remain close to eachother. If I start changing the whole family dynamic to accommodate just this one child, I will have two others who will be extremely resentful.

Hugs is always a good thing. Most of the time she doesn't want to be demonstrative or to be embraced, especially by me. She relates more to her Dad and has more affection for him (even though I nursed her on demand and she slept in bed with me until she was two). Sometimes she breaks with protocol, however, and she will hug me out of the blue. But it is rare. Mostly we butt heads because we are so alike. Children very often are mirrors of ourselves and in this case, she mirrors aspects of myself that I have really struggled with and don't particularly like, making it all the more challenging to remain patient and tolerant.

I am so thrilled to at least have some kind of framework within which to understand my daughter. And also to have others to talk to who are in the same boat. I am very appreciative of this.

My next things to try will be chlorella powder (as recommended on www.mercola.com) to bind with heavy metals and safely transport them out of the body. If it's not a pill, I think I can convince her to do this. Also, I just found out about body soaks (used in the bath) that are apparently very effective for heavy metal toxicity (www.dnrsite.com) so if I can bribe her with something, perhaps she will agree to do this. I have to be a bit ingenious with her these days.

Again, thanks for all your input. I so appreciate having someone to share my travails with.
