Hi, Megan.
Re:
"
have you noticed the symptom of intruding words/phrases running through the mind...things that make no sense, or have nothing to do with anything. Just words that interfere on conscious thought.
"
I have recorded similar observations due to the "modulation" effect that I mention, but I must say that the observations I have made are not solely limited to words and/or phrases, as far as my notes go. However, what you're saying makes perfect logical sense to me, because it all may be 'entwined' one way or the other at the subconscious level.
You know, Megan, as crazy as this may sound, for some years back I've had the ongoing suspicion that some behavioral patterns (the forms of conduct that some people display) may be.. let's say 'influenced' by parasites. This suspicion is specially strong regarding suicidal individuals.
My suspicions have been partially confirmed this very year, with some studies that seem to have revealed that a certain type of mice infested with a certain type of worm seems to "look" for the cat to eat it. For example:

parasite Gives Rats Suicidal Tendencies
What would make a rat think it could take on cat? Scientists have discovered that a certain microbe, Toxoplasma gondii (tocks-oh-plaz-ma gone-dee-ee), causes rats to lose their typical fear and avoidance behavior. It also makes them act hyperactive, which makes it more likely that they’ll attract a passing cat's attention.

parasites That Can Control Insect Minds

Ant writes to tell us that NewScientist is running an article about an interesting parasite that apparently has the power to 'brainwash' its host. From the article: "The parasitic Nematomorph hairworm (Spinochordodes tellinii) develops inside land-dwelling grasshoppers and crickets until the time comes for the worm to transform into an aquatic adult. Somehow mature hairworms brainwash their hosts into behaving in way they never usually would - causing them to seek out and plunge into water."

Sometimes I must stop myself thinking these types of theories, because I'm aware of how disturbing they are and how crazy it must sound to the listener -if and when I ever share them. What's scariest for me is that those theories are not based on my beliefs or opinions or dogma that I picked up in college or on wishful thinking, but on critical repeated logical observations that one time after the other seem to point me to a possible Truth. It's scary because it may be real stuff straight out of a nightmare.
While my observations haven't included experiments on animals and/or people (I don't think I'd ever find it within myself to infest an animal or a person just to see what some worm will do to them), I do have in record many 'patterns' that I seem to observe from people that initially came to me with some diagnosis that later resulted being no less than an infestation by some parasite. This suspicion regarding parasites has come to me through time, because when I started, worms were the last thing on my mind.
"
I've had this for a while now and it's very disturbing. Happens always as I drift off to sleep. And sometimes, while I'm awake. I know I have a lot of parasites and I'm sure it's related.
"
While I can't say that those symptoms are caused by parasites for sure, if I had to bet my last cent on the possibility, I would do it without a second thought. If you have A LOT of parasites, you need help, Megan.
"
Have you heard people mention this one...I don't know what causes it.
"
I have heard people mention symptoms like you mention, but the connection between them and parasites so far has been made by me in a logical fashion, which means that I don't have solid evidence of it just yet.
If you'd like to learn more, look around for GABA receptors as a start. You may be surprised of what you learn. Just don't give up.

You're welcome anytime, Megan. Thanks for your words. I'll be here.
