HI there,

How do you all get these medications. My doctor just treated me like a crazy person b/c I requested Vermox for pinworms. I have had this before and know what I need. The doctor was an idiot...she would not even do the tape test to confirm it. She just got very annoyed and gave me a prescription (with no refills - which I think I need at least one refill to cover the 2-2 week life cycle as I recall)...she was on the verge of being nasty b/c she was clueless.

So - my problem is - I can not even sleep anymore due to the horrible itching and I need to probably have more than one dose in two weeks time. How do you people communicate with your doctors without them thinking you are nuts? I am taking diatemaceous earth and LONG BIG strings are all over my stools (which I guess is another type of parasite/worm. It is horrible. I can't take the itching anymore at night and can't seem to get rid of this. I have horribly painful periods (all my life) and I think I have been harboring some sort of parasites all this time. I've been to Middle East etc. too and no one seems to think I could have parasites. I hate to even bring it up b/c no one takes me seriously.

This doctor just told me to use cortisone. I almost was begging her for the stupid prescription...telling her how bad my anus is itching. It was humiliating.

Thanks for any advice on how to get more doses if I require this (I suppose I may need two more). I didn't even know about Albendazole - that sounds better. Do you order from Canada maybe? Feel free to e-mail me.

I also have an awful cough for the last month as I've been doing the DE cleanse that I think could be related to worms, but not sure. It is pretty bad and I've had it for 4 weeks (The idiot doctor gave me Advair for this - I'm not taking that crap - I don't have asthma or chronic bronchitis).

Thanks so much for ANY and all advice. The herbal cleanses result in lots of weird wormy things coming out, but never solve the itching or fully resolve the issues for me, I believe. I tried them several times with not a lot of success.
