I've had the same results with garlic, tho' the situation does seem to be improving with continued detoxing (Boldy's posts are always so reassuring). My guess is that, yes, the garlic killing the parasites probably is contributing to the resultant die-off bacteria which produces gas. As the parasites are eradicated, the gas should diminish.
