O familiar symptoms!!
I had all these. I tested positive to Dientamoeba Fragilis and entamoeba coli. To get more information read http://www.badbugs.org . I had giardia in the past (though, in those days the tests were inadequate and failed to test positive, the diagnosis was my doctor's assumption).
It is vital to have the right tests. The lab should provide a test kit with 3 sample pots to be used on consecutive days. There should be preservative/fixative in the pots. parasites are notoriously difficult to detect. I also do the tests at the full moon though this isn't a scientifically proven fact.
I have been treated with Iodoquinol (amoebicide) and Doxycycline (antibiotic). Do not get fobbed off with Flagyl (metronidazole)which is proving to be all but useless with these amoebas. Doctors will insist you take it first (to get round that one you might say you have taken it in the past). The treatment lasted for 20 days. I experienced huge fatigue and dizzyness. BMs improved within days of taking the medication. As did the foul-smelling flatulence. However BMs are still erratic (still have constipation issues). colonics helped greatly. I am now taking linseed in a hot drink. During medication, even unsoaked linseed was binding for me.
I also had "frequent urination" issues before medication. Having to get up in the night to pee. This has improved to the point of being able to sleep through the night.
I still have food sensitivities but the fatigue has gone. I finished the course on the 4th May.
Any questions just ask. You are on the right path!!
