OMG, the poor parents!!! Imagine how the father felt also, pulling that worm out. With my luck, i'd probably pull the worm in half pulling it out- and who knows if these worms are like Earthworms, where if they're cut in half, the other half still lives.. Yuck!

well, that makes sense that the boy felt better immediately. Youre right, his intestines are still to small for an 18 " worm, so it was probably looking for more room.

On "Ask MH"s site, I've seen photos of a little boy laying on his stomach in a trunk of a car- with thousands of Acarius worms hanging out of his butt hole. Poor kid! They were dead, thank God- The boy was given some Amish de-wormer formula made by MH.

Thing that gets me is-- these are common cases in all Countries- including the colder countries such as -Canada , America, Ireland, England, etc..,- not just in tropical countries where the Peace Corps doctors treat patients.

You never read a medical brochure about parasites in your typical Americanized doctor's office- they dont mention parasites as a possible cause of anything- and if you suggest parasites, they brush it off immediately.
