My mother has colitis and her doctor told her it was fine to take Metamucil every day. You may even want to look into taking a psyllium powder. I know Metamucil is psyllium based but I don't know if they use any fillers or not.

What kind of a liver cleanse does your doctor have you on? It's usually a good idea to do a bowel and/or parasite cleanse first and then a liver cleanse. I'll be due for one soon so I was curious to know what you're doing. The thought of the Liver Cleanses on here scare me!
