I agree with Ana and I believe this to be absolutely right and I don't think she could have stated it any better. Take a pill and wham!....All parasites and bacteria gone! I wish! From what I understand it normally takes 2 or 3 combinations of different types of Antibiotics to eradicate something like H.pylori and even then it still may not completely kill it. And you may have to be on it for weeks and even months in some cases of severe infection. I'm just curious Ana, why didn't the doc treat you for H.pylori when he knew that you had it? And how long do you think you had it? How are you feeling now? My symptoms seem to suggest something like H.pylori infection. I'm going to ask my doc to test me for it as well as other types of bacteria. I'm sure I picked up something from my girlfriend's cat as I have been sick now for 7 years. I am quite sure of this, because my girlfriend and I both got sick at the same time. And my best guess would be the cat, because it was always sick. I doubt that it was a food born illness. We separated a while ago, but we still are good friends and keep in touch. She called me a couple of years ago and told me that she is now having seizures. She still has the cat and it is even sicker now and the vet recently diagnosed it with cancer. Blood tests didn't show anything, but I have a feeling something may have got missed.
