I have tried several alternative therapies to get rid of my Acne and other skin conditions, and they all seem to work while I'm on them, but as soon as I stop, my skin gets worse again.
I've tried intravenous hydrogen peroxide therapy, immunotherapy, Proactiv(too harsh), Candistroy (for candida overgrowth),coral calcium, Robert Young's alkaline diet with supergreens, and also conventional treatments like Antibiotics (which only contributed to the problem because I now have severe food allergies ) and Differin, Retin A (too harsh).
I have an extremely limited diet. I only eat two different grains, millet and buckwheat. Only fresh veggies and avacadoes. Not much fruit. I seem to react otherwise. And I also take in flax oil and olive oil. I've eaten this way for quite some time, my diet seems to become more and more limited as time goes on.
So now I'm quite jaded. I've currently finished my 1st liver cleanse, with bowel and parasite cleanse. I plan on doing this several times, but if I don't get results I was considering trying a birth control pill that I saw on T.V. that helps keep your skin clear.
My Acne seems to get worse during my cycle.
I was wondering if anyone else has heard about this or has been on it? I can't remember the name of it though.
I'm reluctant to do it because I don't believe in treating the symptoms and not the cause. plus, birth control makes candida overgrowth worse, and really seems to mess with your digestive system.
But I'm getting near the end of my rope.
Looking for some hope, please respond with any suggestions also!!
