Hi,

Thank to all of you for your advice and support. I've been "cleansing" (with a simple diet and herbs) for about 3 months now, and it is great to have people out there to share knowledge about this whole experience. It gets so complicated sometimes!! I never even thought of myself as having an irritated bowel, but now as I am paying so much attention to my bodily functions, I'm uncovering all these new issues..

For now, I'm going to restart the p&b shakes, and continue with the anti- parasite plan, and I would also like to do some colonic hydrotherapy. I've also been to a Chinese herbalist, who would basically diagnose my symptoms as "dampness"--loose watery stools, candida--making the body a hospitable place for parasites and yeast overgrowth. The herbalist has given me some drying herbs which are applied topically, so I'm going to try that as well.
