Hi, I am very intersted in starting the Maker's Diet, but I have some concerns regarding the interplay between this diet and prescription medications.

I am a young woman who has been diagnosed with a terminal illness. I would like to prove them wrong. I would like to finish my masters, I would like to have a family one day.

I have long believed that what we put in our bodies is the most imporant link to health, and I think the MD is something that will empower me to get my life back. I hope so. But this diet is all about purification and nothing artificial in the diet, and yet I am taking certain synthetically produced drugs which I cannot just "cut-out."

I still think the diet is a good idea, but will the presence of perscription drugs reduce the effects of this diet?

Has anyone heard anything about this?
