What a scary experience... just be glad whatever it was is gone! If I were you I would use a good natural parasite killer program, which will kill any if you have them. I believe everyone should do it on a regular basis. There are a quite a few good protocols for this.
I use many "natural killers" daily just to make sure I get rid of anything I may be exposed to. I also do a ' parasite purge' twice a year 'just in case'. You may want to read up on parasites. Things like the juice of a lemon every day, raw pumpkin seeds, a lot of garlic... there are many herbs that are 'natural killers' too.
You can't go wrong cleaning up your diet. It is recommended that we eliminate refined sugar.... evaporated cane juice or Stevia are good sweetners. Don't eat white flour, or refined salt. parasites thrive on sweets! Sodas are out... and diet sodas are worse!!
I have at least 10 servings a day of raw fruits and raw vegetables. The rest of my diet includes whole grains, legumes, nuts and seeds...
I won't eat raw meats, and what meat I do eat is wild alaskan salmon or buffalo meat... no hormones or additives or scavenger meats (like pig and shrimp, crab etc.) for me.
And very few processed foods and only on rare ocassion.
You can read many places on the internet about eating and living healthy. http://www.mercola.com is one of those websites.
There are a few ways to insure there is no parasite larve on your raw foods... One of them is to fill a sink with cold water, add about a cup of hydrogen peroxide and soak fresh fruits and raw vegetables in it for 15 minutes. Rinse well, and dry before storing. They are ready to go when you are!
I like soaking grapes, strawberries, and other berries in a lemon bath = 4 Tablespoons of salt, and the juice of a lemon in cold water. (1/4 cup of vinegar can be used in place of lemon juice.) Soak for ten minutes, rinse under cold water.
Don't ever eat iceburg lettuce. It is a haven for parasite larve and has no food value.
Goodness, I got carried away!!
