I think I need to learn a lot more about alkalizing, so that I can put it into practice. Having battled with candida and parasites for two years, my system is highly toxic (probably less now than it has ever been, however), and I believe toxicity leads to acidity (you know parasite/candida die off with the ammonia and stuff).

I do believe the general opinion that candida is a product of a toxic system, though, and that it cannot survive when the body is balanced.
