I want to do a liver cleanse, but struggle with stubborn constipation. I know it is not good to do a liver cleanse if your bowels are not healthy and moving. Can anyone suggest other treatments/methods/herbs for liver support OR maybe a simpler liver leanse that I do frequently? I had my gallbladder removed 10 years ago, which is what I blame all my upper and lower GI problems on. I am a mess, but my constipation sometimes makes me so miserable I don't want to leave the house. I WAS taking IF #1, but then my body became laxative dependant because of the purging herbs in this formula, so now it is hard for me to have a BM at all without a laxative. When I have to have relief, I get a colinic, usually once or twice a month. I really want to get my liver healthy, but am afraid I can't do any kind of cleanse. Also, do I have to do the other cleanses ( parasite and kidney) before I do a liver cleanse?
