This statement right here klyd really expresses your self righteous all knowing attitude! "people like me" this shows how you dump all those who dont wholeheartedly agree with you in one incurable dumping ground!

"people like you grog... have preconceived ideas... prejudices... and aren't willing enough to give yourself to such a simple program... so therefore it will never work for you or anyone else that has a mind set such as yours... but you want to know something really cool... as much as you've tried to build a case against AA and run it down... AA will still be there waiting for you when you are desperate enough to reach out for help... AA is not "social services"... nor is it a recruiting agency... and since you know so much about AA maybe you remember hearing the "preamble" that is usually read at the beginning of every meeting which states... "

In your eyes its all good, no in between, my way or the highway ! typical of an established viewpoint afraid of the dark and that they might lose thier ego driven superiority!
Sometimes these old establishments hold on in a society to the point of ineffectual redundanices! The wheel just spins around and winds up back at the same place ! You never really progress over and over the same old lines come around!
