If you are serious about getting healthy, you should consider trying three of the least expensive health remedies out there: 1) Do the Water Cure . 2) Try using apple cider vinegar to help get your body to acheive a proper pH, disolve kidney/gallstones, and genteraly help your gut create a body that is inhospitable for parasites to live in. 3) Do an elimination diet.
First thing's first. If you have health issues, you should know what is causing those health issues. I would go and get some cheap pH strips from a pool supply store. In your morning urine, test to see if your urine is acidic. If you are acidic(most unhealthy people are) then you will have a baseline of where you are and you will be capable of measuring your bodies changes as you learn to give it what your body needs to heal itself.
After that first moring test, I would begin the Water Cure : //www.curezone.org/foods/watercure.asp
Drinking clean mineralized water is the easiest way to get one's body back into the healing mode instead of headed for self-destruction. If you grow plants and don't give them water, they become vulnerable to all kinds of disease and parasites. A plant that is getting plenty of water may still have parasites and disease but it will always have a fighting chance to beat unhealthy conditions. A regularly watered plant will find a hundred ways to stay alive while the irregularly watered plant will begin to break down in a hundred ways. The Water Cure is not only the first place to start giving the body what it needs, it is also the cheapest one thing that one can do on the way to perfect health. Use only clean filtered water or distilled water. Use only one pinch of unrefined Sea Salt for every glass. Throw away your table salt .
"The Water Cure Recipe:
Drink 1/2 your body weight of water in ounces, daily. Example 180 lb = 90 oz. of water daily. Divide that into 8 or 10 oz. glasses and that's how many glasses you will need to drink, daily. Use 1/4 tsp. of salt for every quart of water you drink. Use salt liberally with food. As long as you drink the water, you can use the salt. Avoid caffeinated or alcoholic drinks. These are diuretics and will dehydrate you. Every 6 oz. of caffeine or alcohol requires an additional 10 to 12 oz. of water to re-hydrate you."
I would try the water cure for a week and see if your pH changes significantly.
Next, I would continue with the Water Cure and start taking a little apple cider vinegar every day. Watch you pH change over several days as your body begins to digest food it hasen't been able to digest because of an alkaline stomach. Adding acidic apple cider vinegar starts breaking food down by making your stomach acidic which makes your body alkaline.
Apple Cider Vinegar is my favorite supplement. Fow a few dollars, you can have a month's supply of the greatest food there ever was. Make sure to use raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar. If you have Candida, you could just add a little apple cider vinegar to a few of your glasses of water each day.
Sugar is bad for Candida but if you have a hard time drinking apple cider vinegar in water, you might try my favorite newbie recipe: 1/2 glass of apple juice, 1/2 glass of unsweetened grape juice three times a day with a dash of cinnamon and a dash of cayenne. As you get used to to the taste of apple cider vinegar, you can reduce the juice until you can handle it in straight water some day.
You could do a tablespoon or two of apple cider vinegar, three times a day, for a week and see if your pH is changed. When your body is alkaline, you could back off from apple cider vinegar. I have no need of pH strips because I am now very aware of my bodies acidity, but I still have at least a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar every day even when I am alkaline, just because I like it. When I eat foods that I know that I digest poorly, I will add more.
Eliminate toxic foods: Letting your food cure you is the most reasonable way to become healthy. Your body knows what it needs and will send little signals to quit eating certain foods and add other foods it needs to be healthy. Most wild animals do this instinctively but domesticated animals and humans eat whatever is put in front of them. To be healthy, we must learn to have a closer relationship with our food and push away from food that is bad for us. The Elimination Diet can really pin-point what is causing stress on your body.
If you have health issues, I would quit any kind of dairy. Dairy is full of toxins and is not designed to meet the dietary needs of adults. Cow's milk is for calves and human mother's milk is for human babies but we insist on eating dairy foods and drinking dairy at a great risk to our gut. Dairy plugs up the gut with hundreds of thousands of mucous cells and creates all kinds of potential health issues as the body thinks it is sick from self-induced mucous in dairy and kicks the immune system into overdrive trying to get rid of it. The better solution to eating and drinking mucous by getting rid of dairy from your life and you may find many of your health issues just go away.
If you have health issues, I would look at a gluten free diet. Many people are not designed to eat wheat based gluten foods yet you will find glutens in almost every processed food there is. Avoiding glutens would be my second food to eliminate.
Stay in tune with what is helping you return to good health. Becoming conscious of your food and what it does to your body will go a long way toward helping you acheive pristine health. These are the least expensive and most productive ways I know of to begin becoming health conscious and healthy. It is not that much work and has a high potential of correcting one's pH and giving one's body the best chance to fix itself.
Raw foods are the best foods. It can get expensive once you go down this road but when I can afford to eat right, raw is the way I go. Getting a good juicer is a great way to get more raw foods in your diet. Juice veggies and fruits that your body tells you will meet its needs.
Reduce or eliminate meat from your diet. If you eat meat, limit the amount of meat to the amount of meat the size of your hand every day. Meat slows down digestion significantly and may produce an acidic body if too much is consumed. If you do eat meat, drink some juiced fruit with a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar for better digestion.
If you do all of the flushes, cleanses, and enemas and don't fix what caused the problems in the first place, you may have temporary benefits but if you can make a few changes to your food and water intake, you might still need a little help from the many forums in CureZone. Find a forum and read all of the Frquently Asked Questions at the top of the page, read all of the R & RN messages in that forum and you will see if the forum might be one that could help you.
I don't know if you can get it from any of the forums but there is one last thing that will help. Keep a positive attitude and visualize yourself in perfect health. Rehearse the steps it takes to get there and then become what you visualize.
I hope my rant helped. It has worked for me.
