Hi. I've finished a second round of DMSA Oct. 19,(following the DAN protocol). Have multiple chemical and food sensitivities and numerous symptoms from mercury, arsenic, aluminum, cadmium, etc. poisioning. I have symptoms of candidia, etc. and would like to begin cleansings. From what I've read, the parasite cleanse is the place to start, then I will follow the recommended sequence. My question is this: my body is now so weakened by first, the toxins, and then the chelation...which I had a very difficult time with. (Waiting to have testing done for my thyroid, liver, and an echocardiagram. I had an ASD repair of the heart in 1989.) Is it advisable to wait for the results of the tests before beginning the cleansing process?

Secondly, I have a "chemical-like" taste since the onset of my illness which was 4 yrs. ago. It increases and decreases in intensity (but is there on a daily basis). It is extremely strong and at times unbearable. Never had the metal taste that some experience. This "taste" seems to be triggered by multiple foods and seems to resonate from the back of my tongue. Not acid refux, quite different. I did lose my natural sense of taste and smell 4 yrs. ago. Have seen a mulitude of docs and still no answer as to what is causing this. Was wondering if anyone here may be able to shed some light onto the most unpleasant and mysterious ailment.
