My 8 yr. old son has OCD. I want to try a natural approach to help him. I have researched and have found that there can be several things can be a cause for OCD. Parasites, heavy metal posioning (mercury in particular), poor diet and poor vitamin and mineral absorbsion. In summary, what I would like to do is to do a parasite cleanse, heavy metal cleanse (clay bath, Chlorophyll and lemon drink, I don't know exactly what kind of heavy metal cleanse to do yet - any suggestions are certainly welcomed), liver cleanse, etc.... What our family has changed so far is we have gone to mostly organic fruits and vegetables, cut out dairy, drink organic soy and rice milk, filter all of our water in the house, even the showers, stopped eating red meat, cut out artifical sweetners, and extremely cut down on the Sugar intake by about 85% from what it used to be. Here is my question. I have NO IDEA what to do 1st. A parasite cleanse, a colon cleanse, a liver cleanse, heavy metal cleanse???????? What? I am so confused at what to do, how to do it and in which order. Do I use a parasite cleanse that I buy or do I make my own? I read that Wormwood is dangerous for children but some of the children's parasite cleanses that I can buy have that as an ingredient. Does anybody have any specific ideas and/or information that could help me do the right thing for him. I want to be safe and go slowly so as not to make him sick. ANY suggestions??????
