Blastocystis Hominis is the parasite that I have been dealing with.
There is a lot of information out on the internet about it, and each article says that it is one of the hardest parasites to get rid of. One book that is informative is "The parasite Menace". It gives some really good remedies (alternative healing)
I have tried several chemical meds and each one helped temporarily AND it messed up my intestinal flora AND it depleted my immune system.
Expect to try to eradicate it in 6 months to a year. It tends to
attach itself to the intestinal lining.
I read one article to use Oil of Oregano; I use it 4 times a day (before meals and before bed), by putting 4-5 drops in a capsule (it is very strong; it burns, but is harmless for the stomach). It is making a difference in how much my stomach hurts and how my digestion is.
I also use Michaels Paraherbs, and I try to make sure to have a BM at least once every day (not easy).
Stay away from sugar, peppers (incl. bellpeppers), potatoes, white flour. I could write on for hours, but this is the short version. :-)
