it can make anyone so frickin moody.

personally i think you have to handle this thing in your own way.
thats what is wrong with conventional medical care. it takes the one shoe fits all approach and that totally doesnt work at all.

keeping a journal on what you do will make stuff less confusing so you can see what you have tried and what you are doing.

follow that "full cleansing protocol" to improve everything about your health. while it will also help with the candida.

as far as the diet thing.simple starches are bad(bread, potatoes, refined rice). they are just bad for your diet in general. candida or not.sugar is bad, drinking is bad.
a healthy Diet will improve your situation(again candida or not)
if you are doing the candida thing to the strictest degree. no starches at all for 6 weeks is a must. and you should never have any refined food stuffs at all. its safe to have no starches like that for up to 6 months.

it is confusing. kinda think of it like this. i will use low carb diets as an example. there are various low carb diets out there. they all have different details in how many carbs you can have. so there is where you get confused. which one is right? which one is wrong? they are all right in a way. its just the different diets produce different results and use different time frames but they all reach the main objective to lose weight.

thats the same thing with candida. myself i went the extreme route of no starches and a parasite cleanse followed up by a bowel cleanse.
before that i tried pharm. anti fungal pill, eating better, etc. but it was that final full body protocol that got the candida in check for me.

so take in what everyone has to say and find your personal formula.
