I am 99% sure I have Demodex infestation in my scalp and body. I break out every 18 to 20 days. I noticed my hair was behaving strangely. It is completely unmanageable. When I wash my hair with the Tea Tree shampoo clear goo comes from my hair follicles. I believe this is the parasite that is being liquidified from the shampoo. But also the strands of my long hair are covered with something - all the way to the ends. I examined the hairs in the microscope and could see these hairs were furry looking compared to a hair that was normal. Other than cutting my hair, is their a product that can kill what is on my hair. I have leaving the Tea Tree shampoo on my head for lengths of time, wash my hair 4-5 times before I take a shower. I am noticing alot of bare scalp areas when my hair is wet. I have been to the dermatologist, eye doctor and primary care doctor - I even told them what I thought it was......They are idiots. I got Antibiotic face lotion. I also quit smoking the month before I had my first breakout. I stopped the hormone replacement meds I was on, and I also have Hypo-Thyroid taking meds. I've read that all is related to Demodex thriving. I can not take this anymore! I've changed my diet since Dec 2015 - now no sugar, gluten or dairy. Stool test came back negative - even tho I can see dead things in it...told gastro doc that his test does not identify dead things only live ones, and that I needed a comprehensive stool test which identifies dead parasites - they said they don't have a test like that there and I need a colonoscopy. I don't know what to do next - I'm sick and tired of this. I want to buy some Ivermectin, but not sure where to safely get it at a good price. I hate to take it but I need some relief soon.
