Good point - It well could be but the experiences of about 3 or 4 people had adverse reactions to it and it was surmised that it was due to toxicity.

Personally I get good results from caprylic acid which is derived from coconut oil, monlauric acid is another coconut based oil that has strong antimicrobial activities. Some swear by just using coconut oil. The interesting thing about the coconut based oils is that they have diverse killing power (viral, bacterial, protozoa and yeast/fungus). As far as I know, it does not have worm killing power but I think there are many situations in which worm parasites are suspected when in fact other pathogens are to blame. So these coconut oils can be a big help due to the diverse killing action.
