Hi guys

I had my functional medicine appointment yesterday. It was quite fascinating. To talk to somebody with such knowledge of the body instead of some idiot conventional doctor handing you an Antibiotic or pill for every ailment

He suspected SIBO in my case, along with a very mild case of candida, and is placing me immediately on the GAPS diet to heal the lining of the gut as well. I need some time to ease into the diet of course, ive never cooked meat in my life.

He also told me unless you can monitor your blood every month a vegetarian diet is very hard to get all the nutrients (ive been vegetarian 7 years)

I am due for some blood work, and also the SIBO test in January. I explained to him all my problems with parasites and he explained after your guts good bacteria is outnumbered it is not a surprising instance for all bad pathogens to be able to thrive

I really think it is worth the money and time to keep going, I am very pleased and recommend everyone to find a functional medicine doctor is they can

On another note, I started nystatin today and am feeling crazy die off, but im taking it as a good thing, lol
