There can be a risk to drugs and herbs. Some herbs can even be poisonous fyi. An overdose on Wormwood can be very dangerous. I agree on being cautious with any treatment you use though whether herbs or meds. There are some positive parasite drugs though by the way such as this

Again to be clear I don't think anyone is saying to mindlessly use drugs and I wouldn't say to use herbs that either way.

In general I think using methods from both areas of medicine can sometimes help to win the health battle. Someone on a Facebook health group was telling me that when she did colon cleansing to get muquoid plaque out it helped other treatments be more effective.
