Personally, I was initially on many, many steroids for chronic diarrhea....no Crohn's, no UC.....I had parasites. I was told that I had leaky gut. Unfortunately, I listened to a holistic MD and took Humaworm for what was Dx'd [blastocystis hominis]. Lo and behold, the Humaworm revealed many more parasites, macroscopic large ones, eggs, nests, you name it. Due to permeable intestines (leaky gut) the parasites that did not exit, migrated to my muscles, tissues, organs, that cannot be reached. I need them extracted but docs don't do that.
