Yes, candida has some to do with weight.
If your body is detoxing candida, it shows up often on the tongue (white tongue, gooky mouth). parasite dieoff will do it too.
Candida creates gook-colonies in the gut (in which many other bacteria and viruses thrive), when those let go or are flushed out, a lot of weight is removed from where hyphal-form candida clings to the gut walls. These sort of colonies are called bioilms, mucosal plaque, some folk believe that is what you get out sometimes as ropeworms.
In heavily obese folk candida can show itself as colonies that have leaked out of the gut together with food particle and established themselves inbetween the cell walls. This is one of the phenomenons active in loosing 'water weight'.
