The fact that you had pinworms months ago really means nothing. You have parasites. Candida is a parasite. parasites begat other parasites. Many people have 4 or 5 different ones. Who understands for sure why some get parasites and others don't. Some parasites, including candida, can down-regulate your immune system resulting in a compromised immune system. Many worms can do the same thing. This may explain multiple parasites

It's totally possible that you have multiple parasites right now. Pinworms and strongyloides are both round worms. Pinworms usually stay in the lower intestines--although they can infect the nasal passages. Pin-X, mebendazole and a few other anthelmintics only work "in" the intestines. Pinworms are hard to get rid of and are frequently confused with strongyloides. One is not a serious health concern, the other certainly is. I think your instincts are right on re. the seriousness of this infestation.

Strongyloides (strongyloide stercoralis) do not stay in the intestines. They perforate the colon causing serious damage (what you are calling inflamed bowels). They infect every inch of your organs and body. They are a life-threatening worm. You will need to take a systemic anthelmintic like ivermectin for many, many months if this is what you have. This worm is called the "silent killer". Forget the herbs.

After I posted last night, I got to evaluating your symptoms and realized you may only be assuming the activity around your anus, nose, eyes and ears is worms. I don't know if you've seen worms in this recent episode.

Your symptoms also match bird mites very well, except I'm not certain if they cause an inflamed colon. I don't think they do. Your inflamed colon is why I am thinking you have strongyloides.

Strongyloides are too small to rip and tear the skin. I know Sharkman talks of this, but I didn't experience it, and I don't think it can happen. All I can say is that Sharkman may have had another parasite and didn't know it. He will totally disagree with this, though.

Most of us have multiple parasites and sometimes we can't distinguish which symptom is related to which parasite.

You will have to do your own research and make your own decisions. I DO NOT FEEL YOU CAN GO WRONG TAKING IVERMECTIN, whether you have mites, pinworms or strongyloides.
