I don't come on here much and i thought i would share my results from a few tests that i have saved up and paid for.

lately i have been seeing 2 functional medicine practitioners. If your not sure google exactly what kind of doctor they are. There are some fantastic ones in America that i would highly recommend.

Here are the results

1. Comprehensive dna stool analyse

- OVERGROWTH : STREPTOCOCCUS FOUND (NORMAL RANGE IS BELOW 5% MY RANGE WAS ALMOST 80% DISTRIBUTION)

-OVERGROWTH : EUBACTERIUM

- UNDERGROWTH : E.COLI FOUND (NORMAL RANGE IS AROUND 70-90% MY RANGE WAS 16%DISTRIBUTION)

-UNDERGROWTH : LACTOBACILLUS

-NORMAL RANGE : CANDIDA LEVELS

My practioner said the report shows gut dysbiosis which the pathologist stated in the report "could be resulting in a altered intestinal epithelial barrier function increasing passive intestinal permeability to small and large molecules however, this consideration requires further study."

so in a nut shell i have about 85% bad bacteria levels and about 15% good bacteria which is bad it should be the opposite.

Is this the root cause of my condition i don't know but if the whole leaky gut theory is true my dysbiosis would be causing massive amounts of inflammation in my intestines and my body would be in overdrive with the bad bacteria ranges i was very surprised my candida levels were in the normal range as a few people claim candida overgrowth was the issue.

2. ADRENAL TEST RESULTS

- 8AM CORTISOL LEVELS IN THE MORNING WERE IN THE NORMAL RANGE

-12AM THEY DROPPED OF CONSIDERABLY TO A VERY LOW RANGE

-4PM THEY WERE AGAIN IN VERY LOW LEVELS IN FACT BARELY PRODUCING ANY CORTISOL

-9PM THEY WERE BACK IN THE NORMAL LEVELS

MY DHEA LEVELS WERE THROUGH THE ROOF (NORMAL RANGE WAS BETWEEN 0.20-0.60 MY RESULT WAS 0.78 SO VERY HIGH RANGE)

3. TOXIC AND ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS RESULT

-ZINC LEVELS WERE VERY LOW

-CHROMIUM LEVELS WERE BELOW NORMAL RANGE

-SELENIUM LEVELS WERE VERY LOW

-ARSENIC LEVELS WERE ON THE HIGH SIDE

The rest minerals/toxic were in the normal ranges..

4. FEACAL parasite REPORT

-ENTAMOEBA HISTOLYTICA - RESULT NOT DETECTED
-DIENTAMOEBA FRAGILIS - RESULT NOT DETECTED
-CRYPTOSPORIDIUM - RESULT NOT DETECTED
-GIARDIA INTESTINALS - RESULT NOT DETECTED
-BLASTOCYSTIS - RESULT NOT DETECTED
-BLASTOCYSTIS SUBTYPE-1 - RESULT NOT DETECTED
-BLASTOCYSTIS SUBTYPE-3 - RESULT NOT DETECTED

(GOOD TO KNOW I DONT HAVE A PARASITE!!) IN REGARDS TO STOOL TESTS ITS HARD TO BE 100% CERTAIN AS YOUR MICRO ORGANISMS CAN CHANGE DAILY ALTHOUGH THE LAB I USED ARE HIGHLY REGARDED.

Maybe a few people can help me out with these results and what there thoughts are???? my practioner practically said you have gut dysbiosis which is most likely causing intestinal permeability which is could be causing a inflammatory response in your body which is showing up in your lips. I have no ideas if its the root cause but i have been seeing 2 functional medicine doctors now and no results. ill stick round for a couple of days checking the forum and assuring some questions or comments if anybody has any if not ill speak to you guys in the near future! still feeling better with the hope of new inflammatory skin condition drugs coming out in the future which will hopefully control the symptoms and give us relief!

IF ANYBODY WOULD LIKE TO KNOW SOME GOOD U.S.A FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE DOCTORS LET US KNOW ALTHOUGH I WILL WARN YOU ITS QUITE EXPANSIVE FOR THE TESTS IN SAYING THAT I WOULD HAPPILY THROW A FEW THOUSAND DOLLARS TO GET FIXED. I WILL LET EVERYBODY KNOW IF I SEE RESULTS IN THE FUTURE.

I LIKE THERE APPROACH AS THEY JOIN ALTERNATIVE METHODS WITH SCIENTIFIC RESULTS IN COMBINATION ALTHOUGH SOMETIMES THEY ALSO USE CONVENTIONAL MEDICINE TREATMENTS.

I THINK EVERYBODY SHOULD GET THERE GUT/DIGESTIVE HEALTH CHECKED THROUGH A COMPREHENSIVE STOOL TESTS AS THE LIPS ARE PART OF THE DIGESTIVE TRACT. AND A FEW PEOPLE HAVE SEEN SUCCESS THROUGH DIETS AND IMPROVEING DIGESTION ABILITY.

IM GETTING MY SMALL INTESTINES CHECKED NEXT WEEK FOR SIBO AND ALSO TESTING FOR H.PYLORI ALTHOUGH DEEP DOWN I THINK MY DYSBIOSIS AND HORMONE SYSTEMS ARE THE MAIN PROBLEM DRIVING MY ISSUE.
