I don't know if I am on the right path - hopefully I am. Would love your advice and experiences.

I am a 33 y/o female with diagnosed hypothyroid. My doctor only ran TSH and it was low. However, I think I am dealing with parasites and that the thyroid is just a secondary thing. Synthroid does NOT help my symptoms and makes me feel edgy and angry, so I have discontinued and my TSH is holding steady at 4.6.

My iron is low normal (11.4) and my eosinophils were 1.3%. Everything else on CBC was within normal range.

Symptoms include:
Hair loss, noticably thinning
Extreme weight gain esp in belly area - 40 pounds in 6 months, and I look like I am pregnant
Brain fog
Achy joints
Chronic daily headaches
Itchy ear canals - feels like something is moving in there, several times a day
Sugar cravings
Skin bumps - feels like a rash on my chin and jawline, is not visible but very bumpy

I started 1/2tsp DE yesterday. I also started my kids on it, I figure it can't hurt. We have a microfarm with animals, and also we have dogs that get Tapeworms regularly. My kids suffer from chronic stomach aches, eczema, and digestive issues.

Am I on the right track here? And when can i expect to see changes from taking the DE? Does it take some time to notice a difference? Or should I start seeing results more quickly?
