You are sort of correct.

We are the Watchers. On the other side of the veil we watched over mankind. We would try to stop murders, heal people, or correct other faults in human direction. We are not angels but one step below.

The argument ensued in the spirit world that humans were not salvageable. I unfortunately disagreed.
When I disagreed I had no idea I would be asked to try to repair the situation. I was terrified and did not actually volunteer for this. I tried numerous times to get out of the agreement and go back but was not allowed.

So, I do what I did as a Watcher. I try to help where I can and try to bring enlightenment to humans. Don't be confused. My body is human but my soul is a watcher.

At this point I am fed up and agree with the masters that the human race cannot be salvaged.
I continue to do my job because that is who I am but I know now that the masters are correct.

I do not have contact with other descended watchers so I don't know their opinion.
There are many fakes who claim to be "Indigos" but they are just delusional. Everyone wants to be special but this job is miserable and no one would really want it if they knew the truth.

Regardless of the outcome for humans I look forward to going home.
