I see a lot on this site people associating scattering as a necessary and inevitable symptom of "die-off" syndrome. This is not true. While "die-off" is real, scattering is not a symptom of a "die-off". In fact, scattering means that parasites have entered the bloodstream and curing the infection is now an uphill battle.

Scattering by definition means that an infection has become systemic. This is usually done, ironically, by herbs and other harsh irritants that people use to get rid of their parasite infections. Things such as those listed in the list below are irritating to the lining of the intestines, and would increase permeability and hence let parasites leak into the bloodstream :

-Diatomaceous earth. This is what caused my infection to become systemic. Sellers of this substance claim that it could slice and dice worms and other parasites while being miraculously harmless to your intestines. We all know that if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Diatomaceous earth is very hard and sharp at the microscopic level and WILL DAMAGE YOUR INTESTINES BY THE SAME MECHANISM IT DAMAGES PARASITES. In addition, diatomaceous earth is very drying, and we all know that dry skin/tissue are more prone to damage/injury than when they are moist. (Imagine exfoliating your skin with DE after soaking it in DE. The DE would have dried it and enhance its injuring potential, right?) Industrial uses for DE include metal polishing for its mild abrasive properties. If it could polish metal, it could polish the heck out of your gut! It is also used to make dynamite for its absorbent properties (read: drying).

- psyllium husk. Abrasive and may hurt the intestinal lining

- stimulant laxatives - works by irritating bowels to induce bowel movements. long term use and/or large doses may harm intestines

-Anything else that is abrasive and/or irritating to the GI tract.

If you already have scattering, STOP taking these immediately. Please comment if you know any other substances that contribute to scattering.
