Hey demgains (nice username lol),

definitely get some tests done, hormones/thyroid, but then also tests done by private labs for things like bacteria, yeast, mold, parasites, etc.

i'm suffering from a similar problem of sorts, but not as severe, but similar in that i can link my digestive problems to a single incident of getting sick in China (7 months ago while on Antibiotics ) and ever since then chornic constipation/bloating.

you should look at metametrix's GI Effects tests

maybe the comprehensive one woudl be best for you, but the one that focuses on just bacteria/yeast/mold would also be good i think. but i've heard it doesnt detect parasites very well, so this link has some good tests for that, if you think that could be a problem.
