I'm not sure where to post this question, so the cirrhosis forum seems as good as any...

I'm battling candida and parasites and refuse to bring this up to any doctor lest I be labeled delusional...

I am considering embarking on the self-medication-by-vet-meds journey, but before I do any possible damage I would like to make sure my liver can handle such strong pharmaceuticals.

What specific liver tests should I get?

How do I convince a dr that a seemingly very healthy person should have said test for no apparent reason?

Are any liver tests done as part of an overall wellness physical?

Are there any tests that can be done at home?
